Ruth Humphreys ~ lmagination Reacher!

Ruth Humphreys is a Magical Storyteller, creative librarian and imaginative writer. Generally found making something or telling stories on the Magic Carpet, all kids and inner kids are welcome come and play!

Ruth runs storytelling events in schools, libraries, shops and fairs based on a unique blend of books and her own stories, puppets, props and songs. She also creates her own videos on Youtube and has attended TV presenting training at Pinewood Studios.
Ruth Humphreys
Ruth has worked for a number of library authorities including Somerset, Windsor and Maidenhead and Kensington and Chelsea. Working closely with teachers, early years and health professionals and parents. She has worked with children and young people from 0-18 and their parents. With a specialism in early years, primary school age and also ran a teenage graphic novel reading group. She was involved in the annual reading challenge as well as creating and running a successful reading challenge for schools for World Book Day. She worked as Bookstart Coordinator, managing the delivery of Bookstart packs to all 0-3 year olds within the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead.
